Get Ready to Tee-Up with Smokey!
Smokey will host The Don Cornelius Foundation Soul Train Cruise Golf Tournament during our Grand Cayman layover.
Join Smokey and a limited number of fellow passengers on the links of the beautiful North Sound Golf Club on Grand Cayman Island.
The tournament will be a scramble with a shotgun start as twenty foursomes enjoy 18-holes on the 6,605-yard and par-71 course. Delight in the Caymanian terrain, ocean breeze, scenic fairways and abundance of water and sand for a pleasant and leisurely day of fun. The course also features native flora and fauna so don’t be surprised to see sun-bathing iguanas also enjoying the island’s sights.
We will begin the day by gathering on-board in a reserved lounge where our group will be escorted to a waiting tender where we will take a private motor coach to the golf course. On arrival, each foursome will have a photo taken with Smokey with the scenic fairways as the backdrop. Those without a group of four will be paired according to handicap to create a fun and friendly competition. Afterwards, we will re-group at the open-air lounge for a private reception to kick back and relax while overlooking the greens and Grand Cayman’s North Sound. PING Golf has generously provided prizes that will be awarded at this time to male and female contestants for the longest drive, closest to the hole as well as the lowest team score.
