Raise a Glass for The Don Cornelius Family of Wines

Don Cornelius Family of WinesExciting new developments are underway with Tony Cornelius and The Don Cornelius Family of Wines Wine Club!  The Wine Club has teamed with Global Wine Company, Inc., the leading provider of e-commerce solutions for luxury and artisan wine club sourcing, sales and support. Their team of experts curates top-quality wines from boutique estates around the world, selected for complexity, quality and value, and the team counts the prestigious New York Times Wine Club, Washington Post Wine Club, Williams-Sonoma Wine Club and the Food & Wine magazine Wine Club among their clients. The new partnership will provide Don Cornelius Family of Wines members with the highest level of service and selection.

"With the help of Global Wine Company, we will showcase wines from around the globe as well as invite everyone to the table like never before," says Tony Cornelius.  "Whether you are 'full of body' or a 'baby-sipper,' the opportunity to introduce all types of wines to the palates of such a diverse audience is enormous." Those who join the Wine Club will have access to a unique array of tools to help elevate their wine experience in ways never conceived before. To enjoy the wines to their fullest, an exclusively developed Wine & Soul food-pairing guide will assist members in selecting great-tasting wine varietals and matching them with delicious soul food to enhance both. Newsletters that feature the country's premiere sommeliers and celebrity chefs will provide style tips and creative points of view directly to the members. There are also exclusive wine discount programs and invitations to celebrity-guest wine tastings, much like the one Peabo Bryson hosted on the 2014 Soul Train Cruise.

Benefitting The Don Cornelius Foundation, the Don Cornelius Family of Wines Wine Club showcases varietals from around the globe with selections that include award-winning wines in limited production. Proceeds from the sale of the wines will directly support the Don Cornelius Foundation. "Every wine club member becomes one more voice of change, knowing that each purchase goes toward supporting the mission of the Don Cornelius Foundation and the work of healing our families and communities," Cornelius says. The Foundation's mission is to establish programs for awareness, prevention and support for those contemplating suicide or for survivors who have lost loved ones to suicide. The Don Cornelius Foundation is the official charity of the Soul Train Cruise. The two organizations work closely together to honor "Soul Train's" place in popular culture and continue Don Cornelius' tremendous legacy.

There are also exclusive wine discount programs and invitations to celebrity-guest wine tastings, much like the one Peabo Bryson hosted on the 2014 Soul Train Cruise.  On the 2015 Soul Train Cruise, James Ingram will be hostng the Don Cornelius Family of Wines Wine Tasting.

Tony Cornelius will be aboard the Soul Train Cruise as the official host of The Hippest Trip at Sea, raising a glass (from the Wine Club, of course!) in honor of his father and all the fans who have long supported his vision.

Stayed tuned to future newsletters for more information on how to join this special Wine Club, and experience a sample onboard the Soul Train Cruise 2015.
