Announcing This Year’s Don Cornelius Family of Fine Wines Wine Tasting Event
They had so much fun a couple of years ago that Tony Cornelius has invited his pal, Peabo Bryson, back to co-host the Don Cornelius Family of Fine Wines Wine Tasting Event. Tony and Peabo will join the ship’s distinguished sommelier to showcase premier wines paired with a traditional soul-food menu for an educational, delicious and inspiring event.
Considerable time, detail and “soul” have been contemplated to produce a delicious menu that accentuates its perfect vintage counterpart. All proceeds from this magical event that celebrates the legacy of Don Cornelius, will benefit the Don Cornelius Foundation, which is dedicated to establishing programs for awareness, prevention, and support for those contemplating suicide or for survivors who have lost loved ones to suicide.

- Pinot Noir (Estancia Pinot Noir, California) - Paired with Salmon Croquettes
- Chardonnay (Franciscan Winery Chardonnay, California) - Paired with Collard Greens and Ham Hock Empanadas
- Sparkling Wine (Domaine Chandon Brut, Washington) - Paired with Jambalaya Tartlet
- Riesling (Grace Lane Riesling, Washington State) - Paired with Shrimp Creole
- Cabernet (Casa Lapostolle Grand Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile)- Paired with Mini-Ribs
