Announcing the 2017 Soul Train Cruise Theme Nights

We’ll be headed to the Caribbean in just a few short months for the 2017 voyage on the Hippest Trip at Sea and it’s never too early to start planning your packing list.  You still have time to shop for the perfect linen white night outfit.  Take your finest gowns and suits to the dry cleaner to make sure they’re at their glittering best.  Perhaps peruse the after-Halloween sales for the perfect Funk Night costume.

Here’s a list of some fun and exciting theme nights we’ll have aboard the Soul Train Cruise 2017 and a few tips to help get your packing plans started.

Saturday – Welcome Party: Welcome to the 2017 Soul Train Cruise – No special outfits required. Get unpacked and settled in for the incredible week ahead.

Sunday – White Night: A Soul Train Cruise favorite! Easy breezes and beautiful music combine as the backdrop for White Night as cruise guests don the latest in elegant island apparel. We can’t wait to see you in your finest white attire for a night of dancing and fun.

Monday – Pajama Night: What’s better than crawling into your pajamas after an amazing day of music and memories? Don your PJs (appropriate and tasteful attire required) and meet us under the stars for a pajama party on the Lido Deck.

Tuesday – Sports Jersey Night: Celebrate the road to the Super Bowl and wear your favorite sports team’s jersey with pride at this lively party filled with good-natured rivalries and playful competition.  It’s that easy… Throw on your favorite sports jersey and you’ll be groovin’.

Wednesday – Funk Night: The most anticipated night on the Hippest Trip at Sea, this costume party is your chance to make it funky and go old school to celebrate the Soul Train legacy. Break out the platforms and wide collars, the afros and flares and put on your boogie shoes, cause it’s time to get down tonight!

Thursday – Formal Night: From funky to formal, this is your night to shine. Bring out your chicest outfit and dress to impress. Be red carpet ready in your favorite cocktail attire as no one does formal wear like the Soul Train Cruise.

Friday – Farewell Night: A celebration of the bittersweet feelings for the last night of a wonderful cruise. Wear whatever is still clean.
